Today was a beautiful, emotional and powerful day in Washington, D.C., around the world and in Miami. Women, children and men took to the streets to have their voices and opinions heard in regard to the president's political agenda and the infringement of rights of people in this country.
The Women's March on Washington ignited sister marches all over the world in a movement that brought together millions of women. I am so proud to say I was a part of this action, and that my city was part of this moment in HERstory.
Special regards to my soul mate and to every person who marched along my side, to the parents who brought their children to protest, and for all of those standing in solidarity with me and with the women of this world.
