Meet Them Mondays: Odd Blue Roses gives the "odd society" a place to speak

Every other Wednesday The Anderson fills up with some of Miami's greatest minds. Everyday people allowing themselves to be vulnerable and tell their stories to the attentive audience. The spoken word event called Odd Society is a leg of Odd Blue Roses, a collective of creatives who host different events around Miami all in the name of expression.

This is an audio interview with Ramis Mercado, one of the founders of Odd Blue Roses and a local poet. I sat down with him to speak about community, Miami, and what it means to be expressive in a world with instant communication.

Stay in touch with Odd Blue Roses on Instagram @OddBlueRoses or visit them at The Anderson every other Wednesday for their spoken word night.
